The purpose of the HASmember Blog is to provide articles about Hartford Audubon and items of interest to members of HAS, including the HASmember website. The goal is for the postings to be of interest to Hartford Audubon members.
The home pages of the New Haven Bird Club and the Cape Cod Bird Club use most of the the body of their home pages for a long list of scrollable announcements. I hope this Blog can grow and provide a similar feature for HASmember without replicating information already on HASmember. Topics should be fresh in content or approach.
We will need to develop posting rules over time. For instance, schedule changes already appear in HASnotes and The Crest already appears on The Crest page of HASmember and, therefore, will not be listed here.
I have given Maggie Perreto, Sarah Faulkner, and David Funke the capability to post. Other Authors, as they are called by Blogger, are needed and most welcome. Ask me to make you an Author.
We could use someone else who could worry about the quality of the HASmember Blog.
